Roles and responsibilities

As a Corporate Services Manager you will be responsible for many aspects of an organisation's operations. This could be in either the public or private sectors.

Corporate Services Managers:

  • provide high level administrative, strategic planning and operational support, research and advice to senior management on administrative matters such as staff management, financial planning, facilities management and information services
  • develop and manage the organisation's administrative, financial, physical and staff resources
  • develop and implement administrative, financial and operational procedural statements and guidelines for use by staff in the organisation
  • analyse complex resource management issues and initiatives that affect the organisation, and prepare associated reports, correspondence and submissions
  • provide information and support for the preparation of financial reports and budgets;
  • lead, manage and develop administrative staff to ensure smooth business operations and the provision of accurate and timely information
  • represent the organisation in negotiations, and at conventions, seminars, public hearings and forums.
