Roles and responsibilities
Radio directors compile and direct programs for radio.
Their responsibilities include studying scripts and scenarios to determine theme and setting, assessing requirements for productions in association with specialist designers, overseeing creative aspects of radio productions, reviewing tape to evaluate and select scenes and determining any scenes that may need to be re-recorded.
Radio Directors plan and organise the preparation and presentation of programs and determine the technical requirements of productions by discussing program content with the production team.
