Admission Requirements
(1)(a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;
and
(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent;
or
(c) at least two years professional experience in a relevant occupation; or
(2) Significant work experience including at least 5 years with a material level of responsibility.

English is the language of instruction and assessment at UWA and you will need to meet the English language requirements of the University to be eligible for a place.
Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.

The Graduate Certificate in Commerce comprises four units in accounting, economics, management and marketing. This is a standalone qualification, and can also serve as an entry point into the Master of Commerce. This course is ideal for graduates who do not hold an undergraduate degree in business.

Dr Andrew Williams, Director of Education
Dr Andrew Williams is currently the Director of Education at the UWA Business School, and a Senior Lecturer in Economics. He has been the recipient of a number of teaching and research awards, inlcuing Best Lecturer (2008 and 2013), the UWA Best Published Article by an Early Career Researcher (2011), and the UWA Established Researcher Price (2010). His research focuses on the links between the transparency of public institutions and economic outcomes, the economic consequences of corruption, as well as education economics.
