English is the language of instruction and assessment at UWA and you will need to meet the English language requirements of the University to be eligible for a place.

  • Have you provided a personal statement outlining your reasons for applying for the program (maximum of one page)?
  • Have you asked your academic referees to complete the referee's report by the application closing date in the Psychology Reference Portal?
    • Please note there is a subscription cost of $AUD35 to use the Psychology Reference Portal.
  • Have you provided a Curriculum Vitae, which includes:
  1. The names and contact details of two academic referees supporting your application.
  2. Details of any occupational or practical experience of relevance to the program.
  • All international applicants: Have you provided IELTS Academic results no more than 2 years old?

About the course

If you’re looking to upskill in clinical neuropsychology and you’ve completed a master’s degree or equivalent in clinical psychology and are qualified with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) this bridging course allows you to do that. You’ll be eligible for endorsement as a clinical neuropsychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Board (AHPRA).

The usual part-time nature of this diploma will suit you if you’re working as a practicing psychologist. However, depending on the units you’ve have already taken, it may be possible to complete within one year.
