As a landscape architect you could be involved in major regional projects or urban developments that include industrial, commercial, recreational and residential environments. You can pursue a Master of Landscape Architecture at UWA after completing a bachelor's degree with a major in Landscape Architecture.

The UWA Master of Landscape Architecture is accredited by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA). After finishing the Master of Landscape Architecture, graduates must complete at least two years of professional practice before being eligible to become a Registered Landscape Architect.

Standard entry

You can study landscape architecture by completing a bachelor's degree with a major in Landscape Architecture. This requires a minimum ATAR of 75.00, and you will need to achieve a weighted average mark (WAM) of 60 per cent in your bachelor's degree to qualify for entry into the Master of Landscape Architecture.

Considering a career change? If you have completed an undergraduate degree without the required landscape architecture studies, you may still gain entry to a Master of Landscape Architecture. You'll take conversion units that will make the course duration up to 3 years.
