The UWA Summer School runs from late November to early February the following year.

By choosing from a wide range of units offered in a variety of disciplines, you can accelerate, make up or spread the load of your studies. Introduce flexibility and teaching innovation into your study plans by completing units in intensive teaching periods. Units offered in Summer School cover the same content and have the same workload associated with them as subjects taught in standard semesters.

Summer School units are also open to students from other Australian institutions (cross-institutional students) and members of the general public. More information about the units on offer, fees and the enrolment process can be found on this page.

Teaching periods

The Summer School teaching period runs from 26 November 2018 until 1 February 2019, followed by an exam week from 4 to 8 February 2019. Within that time frame, the majority of Summer School units will be offered in intensive teaching periods of four to six weeks. A small number of units are offered in other formats, for example as a one-week intensive course. Check each unit's Handbook page and timetabling information for the specific dates that it will run.
