PhD opportunities from Brazil

Are you a Brazilian student looking to complete a PhD overseas?

Why not consider undertaking a PhD at UWA, one of Australia's leading research-intensive universities?

CAPES and CNPq programs in Brazil support students to undertake a PhD overseas in range of disciplines.

UWA also welcomes students for a 'sandwich PhD', where you can spend up to 12 months as a visiting researcher at UWA during your PhD in Brazil.

Special offer

If you are approved for a CAPES or CNPq scholarship at UWA for a full PhD but you do not meet UWA's minimum English language requirements, UWA will pay for the 10-week bridging course program at CELT for you and provide a monthly living stipend prior to the start of your PhD.  (Students must be eligible for the 10-week bridging course.)
