Make UWA your first preference

Join us at WA's highest-ranked university

A university degree is about so much more than just learning. Studying at UWA not only gives you the opportunity to get a world-class degree, it opens up doors for you when it's time to find a career pathway. You'll build greater confidence and gain a fresh perspective on the world, with the chance to get involved in everything from clubs and societies, to community work, internships and a whole range of social activities.

UWA course model

UWA’s course structure is exclusive to Western Australia and is benchmarked against leading universities around the world, giving you a competitive edge when entering the workforce. You can combine two majors in one degree, no matter how different they are, so you can combine your interests and career goals, without losing time or money.

For example, if you're career orientated and want to study engineering, but you’re also interested in finance, you can study two majors. This means when you graduate, you're not only limited to a career in engineering, but a career that has multiple pathways in commerce-related fields as well, giving you the ability to be adaptable in a progressive job market.

Our five bachelor's degrees

At UWA we’re committed to helping you figure out your study path. Our course structure allows you to personalise your degree and even change your mind along the way. We give you the chance to study across a variety of fields before choosing your majors at the start of your second year, allowing you time to discover what you’re really passionate about.
