Stirling Hwy - Mounts Bay Rd

Transperth's 950 'Superbus' – Perth's highest frequency service – runs to UWA. Every one to four minutes during weekday peak hours, the 950 transports passengers between Morley Busport and QEII Medical Centre via UWA and Perth.

The Barry J Marshall Library is the University's hub for science students and researchers. Named after UWA's Nobel Prize-winning professor, it has sound-proofed study rooms, multimedia suites and a café on site.

Beasley Law Library

A branch law library was set up in 1928, one year after the Law School was established. The library has changed over time to increase access to computers (including after-hours access) and additional collaborative working areas.

Riley Oval

Stop by for a bite to eat from a range of food trucks and hear our talented students from the Conservatorium of Music perform. Try your hand at creating new electronic music, learn about the general studies major that allows you to study music alongside your other passions, and see what life is like as a music student at UWA!

Campus Hopper

10am – 4pm

Two buses will run continuously from the front of the University Club and around key points of the Nedlands campus in both directions. Stops include all colleges, the School of Design and the Business School. Enjoy this FREE hop-on, hop-off service.

Located at the Barry J Marshall Library, this café offers a wide variety of food and drinks, including a specialty cold-brew coffee and large selection of hot meals.. 9am - 4:30pm

EDFAA Library

The Education, Fine Arts and Architecture (EDFAA) Library, designed by UWA graduate Honey Hiranandani, re-opened in February 2012. The facility includes group study rooms with multimedia equipment for student collaboration, a teaching room for flexible learning and technology for self-service loans.

The J Robin Warren Library is located on Monash Avenue next to the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia and Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre. The space was recently refurbished, with an emphasis on collaborative study and expanded e-learning capabilities.

The Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre is home to the Faculty of Heath and Medical Sciences, as well as the Oral Health Care Centre of WA and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital – a progressive, fully accredited teaching hospital.

Located near in the Reid Library, Quobba Cafe offers cold pressed juices, vibrant salads and freshly baked sweet (or raw) treats. They also serve organic coffee.

Recreation and Fitness Centre

This is the main hub for sporting activity on campus, from social competitions to group fitness classes and the UWA Fitness centre. Take a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities, chat to our trainers about the best package for you, and sign up for a free week!

Reid Library

Visit our largest and most central library, Reid Library, to explore the exciting new worlds of object printing and augmented reality in our pop-up tech lab in The Circle. Explore the University Library collection through augmented reality and take home a 3D printed souvenir of UWA (limited supply – last prints at 3pm). Library staff and UWA students will be offering short personalised tours.

Wigmore Music Library

The Wigmore Music Library is an open space with discussion rooms and areas for informal study. The library collection includes scores, performing editions of musical works, sound recordings, DVDs, videos and music reference books.

Wilsmore Lecture Theatre - Chemistry Magic Show

Witness chemical reactions producing light or heat, and light-induced chemical reactions. These demonstrations will involve bangs, flashes, coloured flames, eerie coloured glows and other intriguing sights.

Winthrop Hall

The Hall is one of the Hackett Memorial Buildings funded by a bequest from the first Chancellor of the University, Sir John Winthrop Hackett. It features a clock tower, a glazed terracotta gryphon’s frieze that circles the building just under the roof eaves, an undercroft and a reflection pool at the front.
